S.Kirk & Son "Repoussé" Sterling Handled Bottle Opener with Sterling Lemon Fork

A pairing of sterling silver utensils. This includes a lemon fork by Weidlich Sterling Spoon Co. of Bridgeport, CT (active c.1915-1950) with a floral designed handle. Also presented is a hollow handled bottle opener by S. Kirk & Son Co. of Baltimore, MD (active 1846-1979). This is in the Repoussé pattern, first introduced in 1828, which features a chased handle with floral decoration. Each has a maker’s mark along with ‘Sterling’ to the handles.
