Vintage Weighted Sterling Silver Compote and Shakers
Item Details
A three-piece collection of weighted sterling silver tableware. This includes a compote by Acme Silver Co. of Toronto, Ontario, Canada (active 1885-1893), which features rounded well accented with an embossed band, tapered column, and round base. This is presented with a set of salt and pepper shakers by Empire Silver Co., which have urn shaped wells with gadroon accented shoulders and bases. Each piece is marked for silver fineness.
Condition
- minor to mild surface wear including marks, scratches, and tarnishing; compote has small dents and overall tarnishing.

- the compote measures 4.25″ × 5.5″, and each of the shakers is 1.65″ × 5″.
