Antique R. Wallace and Sons Sterling Silver "Corinthian" Flatware Set
Item Details
An antique sterling silver flatware set from R. Wallace and Sons in the Corinthian pattern. The pattern features a classical acanthus leaf design to the tip of the handles bordered by a scrolled frame to the edge. A ‘W’ is monogrammed to the handle of each piece. The set includes twelve salad forks, twelve dinner forks, twenty-four dessert spoons, twelve dinner spoons, twelve iced tea spoons, twelve seafood forks, eleven butter knives, twelve dinner knives with stainless steel blades, one carving knife with a stainless steel blade, one carving fork with stainless steel prongs, three large serving spoons, one hollow handle cake server, one slotted serving spoon, one serving fork, one ladle, and one pointed serving spoon. The total approximate weight is 105.615 ozt, excluding hollow handle items. The set is presented in a vintage tarnish-proof silverware chest by Associated Silver Company of Chicago, Illinois. Pieces are marked RW&S Sterling to the back of the handles.
