Item Details
A hand-knotted, semi-antique Persian Kashmar pictorial room-sized rug, circa 1940s. This rug features a central medallion in a palette of ivory, navy, and teal. The field has a pictorial arabesque pattern with urns and lancet leaves in a palette of navy, salmon, gold, and robin’s egg blue on a navy field. It has a compound border with a pictorial design, and four ivory spandrels to the corners. It has a natural warp fringe to either end. It is unmarked to the verso.
