A brass sculpture and vase after well-listed French sculptor Lucien Alliot (1877 – 1967). This piece presents two women holding a fluted vase on a piece of fabric between them, with the fabric of their elegant dresses pooling on the ovular gabbro base. The artist’s signature is in-mold at the edge of one of the dresses.

Condition

- accretion along top and sides of base; debris on sculpture; debris and cracks inside lip of vase; debris on velvet liner on underside of base.
