Item Details

A selection of antique Chinese and English porcelain tableware. Featured in this group are two Chinese export porcelain armorial plates, dating to the late 18th century. It is surmounted by a mantled helmet with a bird holding a key facing dexter. The motto reads ‘Fatientia Vincit’ or possibly meant to read, ‘Patientia Vincit.’ The plates have enameled decoration and are not marked as was typical for wares of this type during this period.
