Baduf Art Deco Wood Mantel Clock

Item Details

A Baduf Art deco wood mantel clock. The clock is German and features a mahogany wood case with a two-tone design and is circa 1940. The case displays a gently curved bonnet with wood applique accents on the side blocks and a plinth style base. Other features of the clock include a hinged glass front door with a goldtone frame and a white metal face with a wood center. The face displays black Arabic numbers and brass hands with two key arbors. The clock has a wood door on the verso displaying a chime and pendulum with an intricate cuckoo clock mechanism from the Cuckoo Clock Mfg. Co. and the clock is marked ‘Badufa’ on the interior.
