1997 Missy Dasgupta Signed Extruded and Handbuilt Stoneware Vase

Item Details

A vintage extruded and handbuilt stoneware vase signed by Missy Dasgupta. The vase has a square mouth with triangular cut outs, applied geometric shapes to the front and sides, and acute triangular supports attached the shoulder and base. The exterior has a thick layer of swirling rust and cornflower blue glaze and it is accented with black and turquoise drip glaze throughout. The underside is signed ‘Missy Dasgupta 5/97’.

Condition

- surface wear throughout; some rough edges; handles have kiln cracks.
