Wilhelm Binder German 800 Silver Beaded Teapot

Item Details

A vintage German 800 silver teapot by Wilhelm Binder of Schwäbisch Gmünd (established 1869). This piece features an oval form to the body with beading around the rim and base, as well as white insulators to the curved handle made of either shell or glass and a knob-shaped finial on the lid with a pointed top. The underside is stamped with the German crown and crescent moon hallmarks, alongside the ‘WTB’ maker’s mark and the retailer ‘H. Schrader’. The approximate weight, including the insulators, is 14.955 ozt.
