Vintage Blue Stoneware Spongeware Pitchers
Item Details
A pair of vintage spongeware stoneware pitchers. Each pitcher has a formed spout with an applied handle and a round base. One features a blue underglaze sponge glaze throughout; while the other has a blue floral motif to the center accented with spongeware trim including the handle. Unsigned.
Condition
- crazing and minor chipping throughout; one has a hairline crack to the interior; signs of wear are consistent with use.
