A serigraph poster for the 1989 U.S. National Hot Air Balloon Championship in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, designed by listed American artist Robert Guthrie. This stylized image depicts a centrally located hot air balloon in the foreground, it’s pilot releasing a weighted bag to gain altitude. Six other hot air balloons fill the background in the distance. The work is signed in-plate by Guthrie, and hand numbered 320 in an edition of 5000. It is presented under glass in a blue metallic frame with a hanging wire mounted to the verso.
