A Chelsea’s Ships Bell mantel clock. The clock case is forged brass and features the traditional ships bell code of one bell for every half hour on a four-hour watch. The case features a cylinder shape with a hinged brass and glass door that displays an etched hand silvered dial with black Arabic numbers, two key arbors and black contemporary style hands. Other features of the clock include a handcrafted ships bell mechanism and an eleven jewel movement, a winding key and the clock stands on a solid mahogany base. The clock is marked ‘Chelsea Ship’s Bell’ on the face.
