Antique Tudor-Revival Stained Glass and Oak Bar
Item Details
An antique Tudor-Revival oak bar. This two piece unit features a straight crest rail with molded trim over a stain glass inlay bonnet rising on solid stained glass inlay side panels. The back panel features frosted, etched glass with starburst and floral design over six decorative inlay tiles. The lower base features a rectangular top over three aligned drawers above a central drawer and open storage space flanked on both sides by cabinets. The drawers feature metal scoop handles. One drawer features compartment dividers. The cabinet doors feature carved embellishments to the recessed panels and open to a single shelf. The facade is flanked by carved stiles with ionic column design. This piece sits on a beveled base and terminates on bun feet. It is marked to the interior left cabinet door with a plate that reads ‘Ashton Leach & Cumberbirch LTD, Rochdale.’
