Collection of Art Pottery
Item Details
A collection of art pottery including a small speckled blue glazed up with a gold-tone rim. It does not appear to be marked. A stoneware dish is included with a central peak to it, the dish has an olive green glaze and is labeled to the back ‘Bogdanowitz Pottery’. Included is a brown glazed paisley shaped bowl with a central hole located to the larger part of the paisley design. The finish to this piece has a slight sheen to it. The underside of the bowl is felted, it does not appear to be labeled. A stoneware covered jar is included in a blue glaze, with incised markings to the exterior of the covered jar. The interior is white. Felt is applied to the base, and it does not appear to be marked. A pair of round plates are included, the first has a white speckled glaze, with a blended brown area to the front of the platter. The second plate is finished in a dark glaze, with a slight metallic sheen to it and upturned rim. Both of these are signed to the reverse ‘Casper’.
