A collection of vintage ceramic and glass tableware. The ten items of this collection include: four Japanese koi motif soup spoons imported by Cost Plus; a Chairman Mao teapot marked with a red star and calligraphic writing; two white milk glass nesting hen lidded dishes – one with a red comb and red eyes marked with the Westmoreland cross logo, the other which is all white unmarked; two handcrafted ceramic pitchers – one with a colorful floral design and yellow accents over a white body marked Vernon Kilns, California, the other featuring a blue and green abstract floral design is unmarked; and a large fruit basket motif majolica platter marked on the underside with an impressed depiction of a crown over initials, possibly R.S, and beneath the initials ‘Made Italy Hand Painted’ inside a bell shaped pressed stamp.
