A hand colored etching with aquatint on paper titled Chacun son Tour by listed Russian-French artist Boris O’Klein (1887 – 1983). This work, the title meaning “Each his Turn” in English, depicts dogs of various breeds standing on their hind legs in line to take their turn urinating on a tree on the sidewalk. The piece is signed by the artist in graphite to the lower right margin, titled in French to the lower left margin, and includes a printed copyright to the upper left margin. It is presented in a wooden frame under glass with a wire frame to the verso.
Condition
- glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; minor marks and scratches to frame; light tearing to paper backing; discoloration to print.
