Vintage French Hand-Painted Apothecary Jars
Item Details
A selection of three vintage French apothecary jars. Each porcelain container is hand-painted with a floral motif and cartouche label on a white ground. They are inscribed: ‘Ung:Hydr:’, ‘Almaciga’, and ‘Extr:Glyc:Gl:’. Each vessel is finished with a knob finial and gilt trim. They are marked ‘Déposé’ to the body, indicating production in France in the early 20th century.
Condition
- gentle to significant wear to gilt trim and decoration; minor marks and faint scratches; adhesive labels present to base.
