2004 Joe Rice Art Glass Paperweights

A pairing of art glass paperweights by Joe Rice. Included is a bell shaped paperweight with encased red, white, and blue floral motif, accented with an etched laurel band. It is accompanied by an egg shaped paperweight with encased blue floral motif and controlled bubble accents. Each bears an impressed logo to the base dated 2004. Joe St. Clair was the son of a French glass blower, who opened an art glass factory in Elwood, Indiana in 1938. His nephew Joe Rice took over the factory in 1987, renaming it The House of Glass.
