A sterling silver flatware set by Wallace Silversmiths. This is in the William S. Warren designed Grande Baroque pattern, first introduced in 1941, featuring an ornate handle with floral, acanthus leaf, and scroll motifs and openwork detailing. The sixty-five piece set includes twelve dinner forks, twelve salad forks, thirteen teaspoons, two demitasse spoons, two serving spoons, a pierced serving spoon, a meat fork, a ladle, a master butter knife, a pickle fork, sugar tongs, a sugar spoon, and a pierced bon bon spoon. They are presented with twelve dinner knives and two butter spreaders with stainless blades and a wooden salad serving spoon and fork set with hollow handles. All marked “Wallace Sterling” to the backs. The set comes in a Wallace wooden flatware chest with brown felt interior lining.
