Antique Chinese Revolving Hand Cannon
Item Details
An antique Chinese revolving hand cannon, circa late 18th-mid 19th century. A rare piece, features eight barrels (approximately .36 caliber by 3 1/2’ length) centering to a four-sided muzzle. Each barrel was individually loaded and fused via touch hole at back end, and could be individually lit off via a quick-match or punk as the pole mounted gun was spun in the hand with pole under the arm.
