Vintage Mayflower Student Microscope Kit
Item Details
A vintage Mayflower student microscope kit. This compound microscope has a rotating nosepiece with four objective lenses for a variable power of up to 1200x magnification, and includes a battery-powered light source on the reverse of the mirror. It is presented in a wooden case with slide preparation supplies. The microscope is labeled ‘Mayflower’ and ‘Japan’ and includes an instruction sheet headed ‘How to use your Student Microscope’.
Condition
- stains, cracking and peeling to wood case; old, damaged batteries currently installed in base; not verified for completeness of parts or accessories; all components untested.
