East Asian Printed and Painted Paper Scrolls

A set of four mid to late 20th-century East Asian paper scrolls. Featured are three painted scrolls including a watercolor and gouache painting of birds and trees, an ink calligraphy piece and an ink wash landscape painting; each includes black calligraphy and a red seal to outer margin. Also featured is an offset lithograph print depicting a robed male figure; it features calligraphy and red seals in plate throughout.
Condition
- large tears and rips present, with missing pieces throughout; heavy wear to all paper scrolls with crease marks, toning, discoloration, stains, rips and tears, foxing, edge wear, fraying and accretion throughout; crumbling paper to some items.
Dimensions
- measures largest scroll; visible image measures 48.5" W x 17.25" H; items will arrive rolled in a shipping tube.
