1960s Mardi Gras Sky Blue Beaded Cocktail Dress
Item Details
A vintage, circa 1960s Mardi Gras cocktail dress. The silky light blue dress has a faint sheen and features a wide scoop neckline accented with prong-set rhinestones, silvery seed beads and clear, faceted briolette beads. It has princess seams, a fitted waist with belt loops and an attached A-line skirt with pleats at the hips. The scoop back is accented with matching beads, and fastens with a zipper and a hook and eye closure. It is labeled ‘Mardi Gras New York’.
