1940s Winfield Skirt Suit with Bakelite Buttons

A women’s vintage, circa 1940s, Original by Winfield two-piece skirt suit. The ensemble includes a short sleeved, single-breasted dark brown jacket, featuring brown Bakelite buttons to the cuffs of the sleeves, to the wide scoop neckline, and to the front placket. It has princess seams, a slightly fitted waist and a notched hem, and it comes with a matching skirt, which has a waistband, a side zipper closure and a back vent. The ensemble is labeled ‘Original by Winfield – New York’.
