A vintage, circa 1960s, Nat Allen ivory silk beaded cocktail dress and matching coat. The fully lined swing coat features a wide spread collar and long sleeves, which are accented with bands of silver glass seed beads, faux pearls and clear prong-set rhinestones. It fastens at the throat with a single large, ivory silk-covered button. The matching, short-sleeved cocktail dress has a square neckline and falls to an A-line skirt. The dress is accented with beads, faux pearls and rhinestones to the neckline and to the edges of the short sleeves. It is fully lined and has a hidden zipper and hook and eye closure at the back. Both pieces are labeled, ‘Designed by Nat Allen – Custom Tailored in Hong Kong’.
