A Royal Doulton Orville Wright character jug. This handmade glazed ceramic jug depicts Orville Wright in a white shirt with a brown jacket and black hat. The handle features an image of Orville Wright, along with an image of the airplane he constructed. The image of the airplane is marked ‘Kill Devil Hills, Near Kitty Hawk Worlds First Flight 17 Dec 1903’. The underside is marked “Royal Doulton, Orville Wright, D7178, Royal Doulton”. The piece comes with the original box.
