A 2000 Royal Doulton “Old Salt” character jug. This ceramic jug is in the form of a rugged and smiling sailor, with a blue sailing cap and impressive beard; the handle is formed in the shape of a blue finned mermaid with flowing blonde hair. The name “Old Salt” is etched into the back, and the underside shows the logo of Royal Doulton, with the words “Old Salt, D7153, Modelled by Gary Sharpe.”
