A pair of Queen Anne style dining chairs by Saybolt Cleland of Philadelphia. The chairs each feature a crest rail with a dip to the center that rests above a shaped back splat that is flanked by stiles that attach to the rounded and upholstered seat. The seat rises above cabriole legs terminating on pad feet. The pieces are marked to the underside “Saybolt Cleland.”
