Vintage Luggage Trunk with Vintage Travel Stickers
Item Details
A vintage, circa early twentieth century, luggage trunk with vintage travel stickers. The black trunk has a wooden core, with black leather-like material to the exterior, with a leather handle, leather straps and buckles, with silver tone metal hardware. The interior is lined with blue and white checked paper, and there is one divider inside. The exterior is covered with a large number of vintage travel stickers, from destinations around the world. Travel stickers include ‘Hotel Marco Bologna Italia’, ‘Royal Gascocne Bordeaux’, ‘Douglas Hotel – Aberdeen’, ‘Hotel Neguri – Miranda de Ebro’, ‘Esplanade Hotel’, ‘Hotel Germini Carcassonni’, ‘Hotel Colón – Sevilla’, ‘Hotel Heden’ and many others. No manufacturer’s marks.

- surface marks and wear throughout; rust to metal hardware; trunk is covered with vintage travel stickers, some of which are torn or damaged, or partly missing; former owner’s initials personalized to the front; no key for the lock; leather handle is worn and detached at one side; damage to one corner, including protruding nail; wear to interior
