São José Model Ship and Silver Coin from Shipwreck

A replica of the Portuguese ship São José, shipwrecked off the coast of Mozambique in 1622, and a silver coin from the wreck. This carrack flying the royal standard of the Crown of Castile is mounted to a wooden display base with a metal plaque reading ‘São José 2003’, and includes a clear plastic display cover. The ship includes a 17th century Spanish Colonial silver coin attributed by Bradford Exchange to the São José (1622) wreck and a certificate of authenticity from the Bradford Exchange Mint, marked with the limited edition number 238.
