Item Details
A hand-Knotted Persian Bakhshayesh Heriz carpet runner. This wool rug begins with two large geometric medallions to the center field worked in green, navy, ecru, ivory, powder blue and red. The surrounding field and spandrels have complimentary designs including palmettes in the same color palette. Framing the rug is a Samovar border with overcast selvedges and a kilim skirt with ivory warp fringe at either end. Unlabeled.
