A 1971 lithographic poster designed by well-listed American modernist sculptor and illustrator Alexander Calder (1898 – 1976), created for a June 15 – September 15, 1971 exhibit of his works at the Musée Toulouse-Lautrec in Albi, France. The piece depicts the words “Albi” and “Calder” using colorful abstract imagery in a palette of vibrant red, yellow, black and blue hues against a white ground. The poster includes gallery and date information printed in plate along the bottom.

Condition

- large tears and crease to paper; edge wear; areas of discoloration.
