Maasai Lion Spear
Item Details
A Maasai style lion spear. This pole weapon is in three parts, a long metal sword-shaped blade with a central ridge and socketed end, a thin and long metal spiked end piece also with a socket end, and a short wooden piece with a black finish to connect the two. When assembled, this ‘lion spear’ is prevalent among the Maasai and other tribes of Kenya and East Africa.
Condition
- some rust and tarnish on metal; in two pieces.
