A mixed selection of exonumia. This collection includes some unique pieces such as an 1840 William Henry Harrison campaign token, with Loco-Foco Steamboat line on the reverse; a highly unique, Jackson era, rebellious sounding 1834 token with ‘My Substitute for the U.S. Bank – Experience My Currency, My Glory’, and an unknown man’s cameo on the obverse, and to the reverse a hog with ‘My Third Heat’ written across the body and encircling it ‘Perish Commerce, Perish Credit – My Victory – Down with the Bank’. There is an 1841 ‘Millions for Defense – Not One Cent for Tribute’, with a Liberty Head obverse; An 1815 half-penny token, and an 1864 Civil War token with Union Shield and date on the obverse and ‘S.E. Hustler Brown’s Old Corner, Troy .O’
