A Chippendale style illuminated secretary bookcase by Jasper Cabinet. The oak desk featuers a broken arch pediment with a central finial above a glass front cabinet with wood veneer muntins. The cabinet opens to reveal two adjustable glass shelves resting above a slant wood front writing desk with interior compartments and three lower drawers with serpentine fronts, brass escutcheons and bail handles. The top drawer features a Jasper Cabinet stamp to the side. The piece rests on bracket feet.
