Hand-Knotted Pak-Kazak Wool Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Pak-Kazak wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of coral, cerulean, taupe, camel, and black. It features an infinity pattern with five starburst medallions to the center field. Each medallion encloses a gul with outward pointing arrows amid abstract motifs. Framing the field are two borders, including an unresolved main border with alternating boxed florets and geometric Shirvan style bracket motifs. The selvedges are overcast and the rug finishes at either end with ivory cotton warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
