Hand-Knotted Central Asian Wool Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Central Asian wool carpet runner. The rug, woven in vivid shades of clementine, canary, emerald, coffee, ivory, heliotrope, and metallic gold, features a brocade pattern of meander bands arranged in concentric diamonds. Each panel formed by a diamond is framed by bands infilled with interlocking Z motifs. There are checked guard borders in green and blue and the kilim skirts have embroidered barber pole stripes running across them. There is short natural brown wool fringe at each end.
