An ink drawing on paper by American artist Hollis Williford (1940 – 2007). This drawing depicts a male figure indicated in the titled as a member of the Kiowa indigenous American people who is shown holding a lance and shield. This work is rendered with gestural and expressive mark making. It is signed to the lower right corner of the picture plane. This piece is presented in a wooden frame, under glass, and with a wire hanger to the verso. A label to the back indicated the title of the work.
