A charcoal drawing on paper by listed American artist Ned Jacob (b. 1938). This drawing depicts a portrait of a Native American man wearing two braids. The man’s highly-rendered face and hands contrast with his clothing, which is rendered in light contour lines. The drawing is signed by hand in charcoal to the lower right corner. The drawing is housed in a wooden frame with molded detail under glass.

Ned Jacob was born in Tennessee in 1938 and eventually made Denver, Colorado his home. He is known for his contemporary Western paintings and in particular for his portraits of Native Americans.

- discoloration to paper; discoloration throughout right edge of mat; nicks and minor wear to frame.
