Silver Plate Coffee Service and Tray
Item Details
A silver plate coffee service and tray. Included is a hand-hammered coffeepot, creamer and sugar bowl, with tongs, by Simpson, Hall, Miller & CO. All are marked ‘SHM&Co. G1619 Hand Hammered EP,’ with the exception of the tongs. Includes a footed tray, by Harrison Brothers and Howsen, with a pierced gallery edge, side handles and flowers and shields engraved to the surface. It is marked to the underside ‘HB & HS 5213.’
Condition
- the coffee service is in poor condition due to extensive wear to the surface and a detached lid and finial on the coffeepot.
- the footed tray has minor tarnish to the finish.
