Rookwood Krueger & Hudepohl Ashtray
Item Details
A Rookwood ashtray from 1955 that was produced for the Krueger & Hudepohl, Inc. of Cincinnati, Ohio. The ashtray is rectangle in shape with raised sides and grooves at each corner. The glaze is wine madder. The center of the ashtray has a raised-relief image of a building. The bottom is marked ‘Krueger & Hudepohl, Inc. Cincinnati, Ohio’ with the Rookwood logo and ‘LV’. There is a very small manufactured hole on the bottom above the engraved company name. The original box is included with a four-page Rookwood flyer.
Condition
- no cracks, chips or crazing on the ashtray
- box has tape residue and wear
- flyer has tears and creases and has been folded
