A sterling silver flatware collection, by Walter Wilson and William Bush & Sons, comprised of twelve 7-piece settings and four serving pieces in a classic tipped design. The settings include twelve salad forks, twelve dinner forks, twelve hollow handle dinner knives, twelve place spoons, twelve teaspoons, twelve cream soup spoons, twelve butter knives and four serving spoons. Each piece, with the exception of the dinner knives is marked with the hallmark of Walter Wilson, including the lion passant, and is dated either 1973 or 1977. The dinner knives are marked with the W.B hallmark, possibly that of William Bush & Sons, the Sheffield city mark, the lion passant, date mark for 1977 and the Silver Jubilee mark. Total weight, excluding the dinner knives which have stainless blades, is 132.85 ozt.
