A color serigraph after a painting by well-listed Modern Dutch artist Piet Mondrian (1872-1944) title Painting #1, created in 1921. This print depicts a geometric composition with bold lines creating a grid like pattern. The three of the squares have been filled with red, blue, and yellow. An inscription on the print margin provides the artist name and title of the painting. This work is presented behind glass in white linen mat in a metal frame.
Condition
- to fair; foxing; toning; left side has uneven inking in beige field; upper right corner of red field has minor scuff mark; residue under glass; mat is discolored; frame has surface wear; dents.
