An oil painting on canvas signed ‘C. Holland’. This piece depicts a river winding through a wooded landscape in feathered brushwork that dissipates at the edges into the white canvas ground. The piece is signed to the lower right and presented in a gold tone wood frame with corner cartouche molding, linen liner, and gold fillet. There is both wire and saw-tooth bracket to the verso for hanging.
