Hand-Knotted Bokhara Wool Area Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Bokhara wool area rug. The rug has been worked in shades of russet, wine, ivory, and black. Te field is filled with a repeating pattern of guls and crosses. Minor borders made up of checked bands and stylized geometric figures flank a primary border with devices woven in alternating light and dark colors. The selvedges are overcast in barber pole stripes and there is fringe at each end.
