Item Details
A set of four sterling silver candlesticks by Phelps & Cary Co. (New York, NY, 1899-1900). These matching candlesticks feature capital style forms with beaded trim around the sconce, column, and base. The underside is stamped by the retailer J.E. Caldwell & Co. along with the Phelps & Cary Co. maker’s mark, ‘Sterling 925/1000’ and ‘980’. The total approximate sterling weight is 14.155 ozt.
