A sculpture of girls. This lightly-polished piece depicts a pair of young women in bare feet and summer dresses, one reaching an arm out to embrace her friend, who raises her left hand toward an unseen object. The piece features a circular base and does not seem to have a visible maker’s mark.

Condition

- tarnishing and wear to finish; some cracking to figures’ hands; dust, accretions, and light wear throughout.
