Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Tabriz wool room size rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of crimson, ivory, aqua, rose, azure, ochre, indigo, and mauve. The mainly open crimson colored field begins with a large ornately designed floral themed pendant medallion, and features beautifully detailed swirling floral sprays and bouquets. Framing the field is a unique notched border featuring palmettes, lappets, and leafy vines. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a short warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
