Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Mashhad Darbari area rug. This wool rug is woven in a palette of cranberry, azure, rose, salmon, black, teal and ivory. It begins with a center medallion infilled and surrounded with flower heads and vase forms with ornate leaves framing each cluster. Attached complimenting pendants are placed at each end. The rug is framed with layers of floral elements without definitive lines in the same color scheme. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with ivory warp fringe at either end. Unlabeled.
