A late 20th-century limited edition color etching on paper by listed Nevada artist Roy Purcell (born 1936) titled Beasts of Burden. The piece depicts a group of donkeys standing in a twilight desert landscape next to the remnants of an abandoned car. The work is signed in graphite to the lower right, titled to the lower left and numbered as 22 out of an edition of 100. It is presented under non-glare glass in a wooden frame fitted with a sawtooth hanger to the verso. The frame includes Ferdinand Roten Gallery labels adhered to the backing with artist, title and work information.

Condition

- some toning and discoloration to paper; nicks and scratches to frame; wear and toning to labels on frame verso; small tears to backing paper.
